Michael CahillFVP/Commercial Lending Relationship Manager

Michael Cahill has been providing commercial lending services at First Bank for over 15 years. He began his career in 2009 as a summer intern in the Commercial Lending Department and was notably the first intern ever hired by the bank. In 2010, after graduating from Widener University where he majored in history and played baseball, Michael returned to First Bank as a full-time employee. He started as a credit analyst and has earned several promotions throughout his tenure, ultimately advancing to the role of First Vice President and Relationship Manager. Michael serves a wide range of businesses and maintains a diverse portfolio of clients.

As a dedicated member of the First Bank team, Michael works closely with business owners to guide them through the commercial lending process. Following initial discussions and a thorough financial review, he offers strategic recommendations and tailored solutions to meet each client's specific needs. An active networker, Michael also supports his clients by connecting them with trusted professional service providers including CPAs and attorneys.

Outside of work, Michael resides in Monmouth County and enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two sons. His personal interests include sports, boating, fishing, visiting the beach, and exploring new restaurants and craft breweries. He is also committed to community involvement and regularly seeks opportunities to support local nonprofit organizations throughout the year.
